I grew up in the Woodlands on the north side of Houston. I am a Christian because other teen believers reached out to me in high school. I want to lead our teens to have the same kind of love for their lost friends that I received. I attended Texas A&M and received a degree in Parks and Recreation in 1989. I accepted the call to ministry in Corsicana, Texas from 1991-1997.

My wife Lezli and I began building our family there which now includes four children, Luke, Cole, Todd, and Hope. I entered ACU's Marriage and Family Therapy program in the fall of 1997 to better equip myself to serve teens and their families. We moved to Katy in 2000 while I was finishing the requirements for my Professional Counselor's license. We attended the Cinco
Ranch church as members until the Shepherds offered me a position as CRCOC's first Children's Minister in the Spring of 2002. In the fall of 2003, I returned to my first love working with teens."

"I have tried other vocations and I just can't imagine doing anything else besides working full time in ministry. I love teens, I love working to help families and marriages, I love people. It is my desire to see the kingdom of heaven take root in young peoples' lives and for them to begin to see God's purpose for them right here, right now. My goal is to send out students who choose faith in God on their own and are eager to live their life serving in God's kingdom. I look forward to serving with you!
